Online Application for New Students and Transferees

Welcome to the Online Application Page of Philippine School Oman. Please read the following guidelines in filling out the online application form for new students and transferees.
 

General Policies

The Philippine School admits new students and transferees on the bases of the result of the entrance test, personal interview, academic records, character evaluation, and student's and parent's acceptance of the school philosophy, vision, mission, goal, objectives, rules, and regulations as stipulated in the Student Handbook.

Eligibility

  • All Kindergarten 1 applicants MUST be at least (4) four years old by 31 October of the current school year.
  • All Kindergarten 2 applicants MUST be at least (5) five years old by 31 October of the current school year.

All Grade 1 applicants MUST be at least (6) six years old by 31 October of the current school year and MUST have attended/completed a kindergarten program or its equivalent

Important Dates to Remember

 ENLISTMENT for New Students and Transferees – May 2025 onwards

TESTING- June 2025 onwards

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE:

Step 1 Fill out the ONLINE ELISTMENT FORM to schedule for admissions exam (Note: Use your desktop/laptop in registering.)
Step 2 an email/SMS will be sent confirming the receipt of the initial information provided.You will then be requested to proceed for testing and validation of the following initial documents to be presented to the Guidance Office on the testing date:
           A. child's passport
           B. visa/residence card
           C. birth certificate and,
           D. recent report card
Step 3 on the day of the learner's entrance exam:        
  1. Validation of Testing Schedule/Encoding of Passport Data at the Guidance Office and look for Ms. Ma. Norelyn Cacay (School Counselor) (Please bring the initial requirements for verification)
  2. Payment of Testing Fee at the Cashier’s Office (5 OMR)                              
  3. Testing Proper        
After the learner's entrance exam: The test results will be sent through e-mail or SMS
Step 4 All transferees will be scheduled for an interview with the Department Head.
Step 5 Successful applicants will be scheduled for an orientation.    
Step 6 Shortlisting for  Registration/Enrollment.  
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

1.    Original Form 138 / School Report Card (for transferees only)
– With English translation for non-Filipino applicants
– Must be authenticated by their country’s embassy for students who studied in schools outside Oman and the Philippines
– Must bear the official school stamp

2.    Form 137 / Transcript of Records (for transferees only)
– Complete academic records required for non-Filipino applicants
– For Filipino transferees, a requisition form for Form 137 is available at the Registrar’s Office, c/o Ms. Eden V. Flores

3.    Original Certificate of Good Moral Character / Honorable Dismissal (for transferees only)
– Issued by the principal of the former school
– Original copy is required
– Must bear the official school stamp

4.    Certificate of Transfer (for transferees only)

5.    Clear Copy of Passport (ID Page) and Valid Visa
– For both parents and child
– Printed copy of eVisa is required

6.    Clear Copy of Birth Certificate
– PSA Birth Certificate for Filipino applicants
– With English translation for non-Filipino applicants

7.    Clear Copy of Oman Residence Card (back-to-back copy)
– For both parents and child

8.    Clear Copies of Health Records / Immunization Records

9.    Three (3) Passport-Size Photos
– With blue background
– Recent and identical

10.    For Omani Nationals:
– Submit the Permit to Study in a Non-Omani School
– This permit should be requested from the Ministry of Education – Oman
